an Iten court, in Kenya, has sentenced a 24-year-old man to death after he was found guilty of violently robbing his cousin. Evans Kipchirchir Chemweno was found guilty of robbing Jeremiah Kiptoo while armed with a panga. He was jointly charged with Thomas Komen Chemweno, a Kenya Defence (KDF) officer. When the duo was first arraigned in court, they denied committing the offence making the case proceed to full trial during which the prosecution produced six witnesses.
