A 30-year-old man has been sentenced to death in Kenya by a Narok court for violently robbing a business and his wife in Narok town. The court was told that on November 2, 2012 at Total estate in Narok town, Wilson Kuria raided the home of Samuel Motari armed with a rifle, rungus and knives and terrorised the family.
Narok senior resident magistrate Temba Sitati heard Kuria with others even made coffee and drunk it with chapatis before stealing clothes and electronic goods all valued at Sh66,000.
He also stole Motari's wife, Martha Ogamba's mobile phone worth Sh17,000. Kuria denied the charges. Sitati told Kuria he has a right to appeal in 14 days.
