KENYA: TWO SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR ROBBERY AND KIDNAPPING
Two people who robbed and consequently kidnapped a neuro surgeon with the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital have been sentenced to death by an Iten court, KNA reported on 29 July 2019.

The two Wright Kinyatta alias Brownie and Moses Kiptok Tanui had been charged with one count of violently robbing Dr. Gilbert Barasa Wasike of his car, assorted electronic goods, medical supplies and Sh3,000 in cash.
They were also charged with a second count of kidnapping the neuro surgeon while armed with knives on 20 September 2016 in Eldoret West sub County of Uasin Gishu County.
