Landon D. May, 20, had nothing to say as a Lancaster County judge sentenced him to death -- twice -- for murder.
Judge Lawrence F. Stengel said May has shown no remorse for the torture-killing of Terry, 49, and Lucy Smith, 51, in September 2001.
May also sexually assaulted Mrs. Smith before she died.
May, now joins his father, Freeman May, on death row. The elder May, now 55, was sentenced to death in 1991 for killing a woman.
The sentence was a formality. Stengel was imposing the penalty chosen by a jury at the conclusion of May's trial last month.
