11 Indonesians have been sentenced to death in Malaysia and are now awaiting their execution, indonesian Foreign Ministry spokesman Michael Tene confirmed. “They appealed the decision to the Malaysian highest court, but they failed to get acquitted,” Michael said. “They are currently asking for amnesty from the Malaysian government.” 10 had been punished for drug possession and dealing, and one had been charged for murder.
