the Malaysian High Court sentenced Mohamad Che Tam, unemployed, to death after finding him guilty of trafficking in 24.7g of heroin. Mohamad, 44, was also sentenced to four years' jail from the date of his arrest on October 6, 2002, on a second charge of possessing 10.86g of methamphetamine pills that day. He was alleged to have committed both offences near a mosque in Kampung Tor Dor in Kuala Terengganu at 7.10pm that day.
