judicial commissioner Datuk Umi Kalthum Abdul Majid of the Malaysian sessions court sentenced four men to hang for the murder of an Indian national. A. Mainthan, 39, A. Param Sivam Alagan, 44, and brothers T. Yuganathan, 25, and T. Adiswaran, 28, allegedly killed restaurant worker Manivanan Vellay Samy on August 9, 2004, in Ampang. The four were angry with the deceased for running away with the sister-in-law of the deceased's boss.
