Chief Judge of Malaya Tan Sri Ariffin Zakaria and Justices Datuk Hashim Yusof and Datuk Md Raus Sharif of the Malaysian Federal Court set aside the death sentences of M.Dorai Pandian, 30, and P.Ragu, 36. They were sentenced for murdering two bouncers on April 24, 1999. Pandian was acquitted due to doubt over his involvement and Ragu was acquitted due to misidentification in a line up.
