Datin Paduka Zaleha Zahari, Datuk Sulaiman Daud and Datuk Clement Allan Skinner of the Malaysian Court of Appeal upheld the death sentence of graduate student Irawadi Mohammad, 30. Mohammad was sentenced to death by the Shah Alam High Court on November 11, 2009 for murdering his ex-girlfriend, Norzi Ayu Mohd Noor, 27, on July 26, 2004, in Bandar Baru Bangi.
