MALAYSIA: GALLOWS FOR EX-CLERK FOR DRUG TRAFFICKING

former Johor council clerk Abd Latif Sakiman lost the appeal against his death sentence for drug trafficking at the Federal Court in Putrajaya, Malaysia. Chief Judge Tan Sri Arifin Zakaria and Judges Tan Sri Richard Malanjum and Datuk James Foong found him guilty of trafficking in 36.44gms of monoacetylmorphines at Johor Bahru on March 16, 2001.
