Iskandar Mohamad Yusof, 31, was alleged to have committed the offence on June 5, 1999. The cannabis was found in a bag placed in the basket of the motorcycle ridden by him.
In his judgment, Judge Datuk Suriyadi Halim Omar Suriyadi said the loss of the case evidence comprising a bag containing the cannabis, pictures and negatives made it impossible for the court to ascertain the true nature of what had happened.
