Daud Ahmad, 39, an odd-job labourer, was found guilty by the Malaysian High Court of murdering his ex-wife Mimi Afiza Tamby, 31, in Segamat on August 26, 2005.

Daud Ahmad, 39, an odd-job labourer, was found guilty by the Malaysian High Court of murdering his ex-wife Mimi Afiza Tamby, 31, in Segamat on August 26, 2005. Judicial commissioner Datuk Ahmadi Asnawi heard that Ahmad raped and strangled Tamby after a quarrel. The couple were only recently divorced.
