MALAYSIA: THAI WOMAN GETS DEATH SENTENCE IN MALAYSIA FOR DRUG TRAFFICKING

Thai woman Phrueksa Taemchim, 26, was sentenced to death in Malaysia for trafficking drugs. She was detained by antinarcotics police at a bus stop in July 2009, shortly after arriving from Buenos Aires. Police discovered she had swallowed drug capsules to smuggle them to Thailand.
