a local court sentenced a man to death for killing two students in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in revenge for the death of his daughter. In 2005, Muzht's eight-year-old son strangled his elder sister because he was "embarrassed" about the girl's poor school results. Muzht held the school responsible for the tragedy and attacked the pupils in front of the school. According to the Supreme People's Court, the death penalty will be administered very cautiously in criminal cases involving disputes between families and neighbors. "But for extremely notorious criminal cases with overwhelming evidence, a death penalty with immediate execution will be passed down without hesitation."
