NIGERIA: COURT SENTENCES POLICE CORPORAL TO DEATH

Justice Ishaq Bello of the Abuja high court sitting in Maitama, Nigeria, sentenced Corporal Gad Barminals to death. Barminals allegedly arrested taxi driver Paul Ojo at gunpoint, took him to a secluded spot in Abuja, shot him and stole his car. Ojo's body was discovered on May 25, 2005.
