Lawmakers in Rivers State and Enugu State of Nigeria have endorsed capital punishment for persons involved in oil theft or any offence that relates to bunkering of crude oil, web site AfricaNews.com reported.
The bill has been signed into laws in Rivers State and Enugu States but it has to be harmonized in the Constitution for it to take full legal effect.
