NIGERIA: MAN SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR SLAUGHTERING FRIEND

Chief Justice Ibrahim Umar of the High Court in Birnin kebbi, in Kebbi State, Nigeria, sentenced Yusuf Hussaini to death by hanging. He allegedly killed his friend Aliyu for refusing to give him a cigarette on April 13, 2009, in Gidan Zana ilo district of Bagudo Local Government Area of the state.
