NIGERIA: TEENAGER SENTENCED TO DEATH BY HANGING

in Nigeria, Chief Justice Bemari Bansi of the Yola High Court sentenced Patrick Ozeoma to hang for a murder committed when he was a minor. He allegedly hacked his former master, Late Pericoma Mbasalem, to death using a machete in 2000, when he was sixteen years old. Ozeoma confessed that he killed Mbasalem because he took N52,000.00 sent to Ozeoma’s by his mother.
