He was also fined Rs 500,000. In a separate case, Additional District and Sessions Judge Asghar Ali Khan sentenced Basharat Ali to death and fined him Rs 200,000 for fatally shooting his cousin over a petty dispute on September 7, 2007, in the limits of police Station Sudhara.
