In Pakistan, the Sindh High Court (SHC) dismissed the appeal of a former police constable against his conviction in a murder case, but commuted his death sentence to life imprisonment. Mohammad Aslam was sentenced to death by the trial court for murdering his wife in June 2000. He along with his two brothers, Mohammad Ashraf and Mansoor, killed his wife, Naheed, over a domestic issue.
