Sialkot Additional District & Sessions Judge Khalid Arshad sentenced Akhtar Ali to death on two counts with a with a fine of Rs. 100,000 and sentenced to death with a fine of Rs. 50,000 each Babar Ali, Abdul Razzaq and Muhammad Ramzan alias Hakeem.

According to the prosecution, the four had kidnapped Kiran, 4, and killed her after gang raping her in Doburji Arayian village , Sialkot, Pakistan, on November 16, 2004.
The convicts then abandoned her dead body in nearby fields.
