the Lahore High Court, Pakistan, confirmed the death sentence to Mohammad Hussain of Faisalabad, convicted of murdering a couple in a property dispute. The court acquitted his co-accused, Sadee Ahmad and Rang Elahi, by holding that they both had no motive against the couple. It was not reported whether the latter two had originally been sentenced to death. According to the prosecution, the three killed Fateh Bibi and her husband Kamal Din in 1998.
