PAKISTAN: MAN AWARDED DEATH SENTENCE

in Pakistan, Additional District and Sessions Judge Chaudhary Anwar Ahmed awarded the death sentence to Nadeem Akhtar and acquitted his mother of the murder of Muhammad Iqbal. Akhtar and Parveen Bibi were arrested in 2006. According to case details, there was a land dispute between Nadeem Akhtar and Farakh Aslam. Nadeem killed Muhammad Iqbal, a servant of Farakh Aslam, when he was working in the fields. The case was registered in Bhara Kahu police station.
