PAKISTAN. MAN CONVICTED OF MURDER

Additional District and Sessions Judge Sanaullah Khan Niazi handed down capital punishment with a fine of Rs 500,000 to an accused involved in a murder case of Gunjial police station in Pakistan. According to the prosecution, Tauseef Aalam and his brother Tauqeer Aalam and father Aalam Khan shot dead step-brother Muhammad Nasir Khan over property dispute on October 2, 2007. The court acquitted the other two accused.
