PAKISTAN: MAN SENTENCED TO DEATH

An Attock court on November 29, 2023 sentenced a man to death in a murder case registered with Attock Sadsar police station in 2020.
According to the FIR registered under section 302 and 34 of Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) in Attock Saddar Police station, the accused Ansar Mehmood shot and killed Ibrahim over some old enmity on June 13, 2020.
Later, police arrested the accused and recovered the weapons utilized in the murder and attempted murder case. The convict was also ordered to pay Rs0.15 million as damages.
