PAKISTAN: MAN SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR BLASPHEMY

A sessions court fined and then sentenced a man to death in a blasphemy case on September 14, 2018.
Additional District and Sessions Court Judge Raja Safder Iqbal heard the case.
The judge ruled that convict Arshad Sardar will have to pay Rs50,000 or serve six-month imprisonment.
Sardar was also sentenced to death by the court.
The case had been registered at the request of a village faith healer in 2015.
