Pakistan's religious minority minister, the Catholic Shahbaz Bhatti, has been killed in Islamabad. Bhatti has just been confirmed to his post after a government shuffle, resisting Islamic fundamentalist pressures. In the last few months, Bhatti received several death threats for his request to modify the blasphemy law and his work in favor of Asia Bibi, a Christian woman condemned to death applying that law.
