PAKISTAN: MUSHARRAF ATTACK CASE: SC REJECTS REVIEW PLEA OF TWO CONVICTS

Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry of the Pakistani Supreme Court rejected the review plea of Khalid and Mushtaq against their death penalties for instigating and plotting a suicide attack on former President Pervez Musharraf. Their lawyer unsuccessfully argued that civilians cannot be prosecuted under Army Laws. The hearing was adjourned till April 6.
