PAKISTAN: PRESIDENT ZARDARI, NO CHANGE ON CAPITAL PUNISHMENT

replying to a question by journalists in Multan on the issue of revoking the capital punishment, President Asif Ali Zardari of Pakistan said the law existed in the Constitution and it would not be altered.
"Even a country like America has the law of death sentence," he pointed out, adding therefore no change would be made in Pakistani law on capital punishment.
