the Sindh High Court (SHC) in Pakistan acquitted two men charged with a bomb blast outside the Karachi Sheraton Hotel in May 2002 that killed several people. Justice Faisal Arab and Justice Bin Yameen declared the punishment awarded to Muhammad Rizwan and Asif Zaheer null and void. They, along with their co-accused Sohail, were sentenced to death plus 45 years imprisonment. After an ATC awarded them capital punishment, they filed appeals in the SHC Anti Terrorism Appellate bench.
