The anti-Terrorism Court-I in Gujranwala awarded the death sentence on two counts and a fine of rupees two lakh to Arif for killing a person in Civil Lines Gujranwala area. In case of non-payment of fine the culprit will further undergo rigorous imprisonment for six months. The incident took place on April 28, 2008.
Meanwhile, Anti-Terrorism Court-II in Multan convicted Shakeel and four others and awarded them the death penalty for the murder of three people in Sahiwal city on February 24, 2008.
