PAKISTAN: THREE DEATH ROW PRISONERS HANGED

Three more death row prisoners were sent to the gallows in different jails of Punjab on early morning, Dunya News reported.
According to details, two death row convicts were executed at the Kot Lakhpat Jail. Prisoner Shafaqat was hanged for killing a man in Sheikhupura while death row prisoner had killed a man named Pervez in Shahdara.
Another death row convict was executed in Central Jail of Gujranwala. Death row prisoner Tariq Illahi had killed his niece for marrying at her own will 13 years ago. Since the de facto ban on capital punishment ended on 17 December 2014, at least 211 people, including 25 convicted terrorists, have been executed across the country.
