A court in Jauharabad awarded death sentence to three accused on September 4, 2018 for their involvement in a double murder case.
Additional Sessions Judge Ashfaq Ahmed Gujjar announced the judgement. During court proceedings, the prosecution told the judge that Hassan Shehzad, Nasrullah and Ameer Nawaz had shot dead their relatives Nadia Hassan and Zamurad Bibi for honour on May 25, 2015.
Jauherabad police had registered a case against the accused under sections 30 and 311 and presented the challan in court.
