At least two death row convicts were hanged in various jails of Punjab on early morning, Dunya News reported. The dead bodies of the prisoners were handed over to their heirs after the executions.

At least two death row convicts were hanged in various jails of Punjab on early morning, Dunya News reported. The dead bodies of the prisoners were handed over to their heirs after the executions.
According to details, death row prisoner Nasir Abbas was hanged in the Central Jail Jhang. Nasir Abbas had killed a man named Hafiz-ur-Rehman in 2001 over a minor dispute.
Another death row convict, Tahir, was executed in the District Jail Sahiwal. Tahir had shot dead his wife over a family dispute in 2007.
