PAKISTAN: TWO SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR KILLING POLICEMAN

Judge Syed Hasan Shah Bukhari of the Anti-terrorism court 1 in Karachi, Pakistan, sentenced Muhammad Kamran, alias Kamoo, and Farhan Ahmed Hashmi to death for killing policeman Mohammad Ashraf on June 30, 2006, under Sharea Faisal police station. The two were also fined Rs100,000 each.
