Pakistani President Gen. Pervez Musharraf said he was opposed to extraditing to the United States the person accused of masterminding the kidnap-slaying of US journalist Daniel Pearl.
The Pakistani president said the suspect, Ahmed Omar Saeed, "should be tried in Pakistan and if he is found guilty, he will be hanged".
