Phan Hoai Linh, a 36 year old Vietnamese man convicted of child rape, was executed by firing squad in Vietnam's central city of Danang. Linh was blindfolded and tied to a stake before being shot at the Hoa Khanh execution site in Lien Chieu district. Linh had been convicted in 2002 of raping six children and attempting to violate 11 others. All of his victims were under the age of 10.
