Police in Dhaka arrested a man condemned to death in absentia for killing two people, from the capital's Gulshan area.
The killer, Mainuddin Ahmed Dulal (40), had been absconding for last five years after killing a guard and an accountant of a post office in Brahmanbaria on March 2, 1997.
A court in Brahamambaria gave him capital punishment in September 2001 in his absence.
