Salah Abdullah Jaber ‘Awad, 45, from Rafah, was killed in Gaza City after he fled Gaza Central Prison. He was detained on account of collaboration with the enemy since May 2008. Having sustained several bullet wounds, his family recognised his corpse at the al-Shifa' Hospital in the Gaza city. 'Awadh's dead body was located in the area of Nitzarim several days after he had been killed. He was buried on January 20, 2009.
