SAUDI ARABIA: ASIAN GANG MEMBERS GET DEATH SENTENCES FOR MURDER

Qayan, Isk and Parshan were sentenced to death by a three-judge panel of the Jeddah General Court for the murder and robbery of a real estate agent in Jeddah in 2007. A gang of 11 nationals from India and Sri Lanka allegedly broke into the deceased's apartment, tied him up, stuffed a towel in his mouth and struck him repeatedly over the head with a steel object until he died.
