SAUDI ARABIA. TOP PENALTY FOR GAYS DEATH BY STONING SAYS SAUDI JUDGE

Shaykh Fu'ad al-Majid, president of the general court in Al-Qatif, Saudi Arabia, explained that the religious ruling awaiting those present at a ‘party’ on 19 May, in which 13 homosexuals were present, would be stoning to death if they were married and found guilty of homosexual acts.
If unmarried, the ruling would be 100 lashes and a prison sentence. Al-Majid added that if found not guilty of the sexual act of homosexuality but only of kissing and the like, the ruling would be disciplinary and would be left to the discretion of the judge. Factors including the period of time these men had been involved in homosexual activity and any previous offences in this regard would be taken into consideration when passing judgment.
