Seven Nigerians were executed and three had limbs amputated in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, after being convicted of bank robbery and assault. Shaykh Luqman Muhammad Awl, Adishno Abd-al-Wasi, Taj-al-Din Adibayo Luwal, Bayu Ibrahim Bulhan, Niyar Mubarak Wayl, Abd-al-Fattah Ulsjin Amos and Uthman Muhammad Ibrahim were sentenced to death, while Kindi Amuru Muhammad, Nurin Aladi Amos, and Abdallah Abu-Bakr Muhammad were sentenced to the amputation of their right arm from the wrist and their left foot from the ankle.
