Several thousands of Kurds held a rally in downtown Yerevan in protest against the capital punishment passed on Abdullah Ocalan. Chanting "Freedom for Ocalan" they went to the UN mission in Yerevan, where the rally took place. "If the question of our leader's security is not resolved positively, we shall not be responsible for our actions," the Kurds declared, handing a petition to officials of the UN mission.
