Somalia’s Puntland military court on September 26, 2018 sentenced alleged Al Qaeda linked Al-Shabaab and Islamic State groups’ members to death and life in prison.
Somalia’s Puntland military court on September 26, 2018 sentenced alleged Al Qaeda linked Al-Shabaab and Islamic State groups’ members to death and life in prison.
In a statement, the court said six men, who were allegedly having links with Al Shabaab and Islamic State groups have been brought before the court.
Three of the six men had been sentenced to death, while the other three were also sentenced to life in prison, but one of them was sent to medical check-ups.
Here are defendants’ names being sentenced to death: Hassan Lamo Aden, Islamic State member; Yasin Osman Abi Salah, Islamic State member; Hassan Mohamed Ali Ibrahim, Al-Shabaab member.
