Spencer Goodman, 31, white, was executed by lethal injection. Goodman had been convicted of kidnapping and killing Cecil Ham, a 38 year old white woman on 2nd July 1991. He was the second person to be executed in the State during the year, No 201 since the State resumed executions in 1974. He was the seventh to be executed in the U.S. during the year and No 605 since the death penalty was re-introduced in 1976.
