SRI LANKA DEATH PENALTY FOR THREE IN MURDER CASE

Nickson was killed opposite the Sathosa shop at Maligawatta on August 29, 1995. The Court sentenced P. A. Antonee Perera, alias Anta, B.H. Wijeratne, alias Jagath and Bulathsinhalage Ratnasiri, alias Sudu Mahattaya, to death after they were convicted of Nickson’s murder. According to the evidence, the three (with others unknown to the prosecution) stabbed the victim with knives based on a previous grudge.
