Taalaybek Beyshembiyev, Vyacheslav Abdrashitov and Vitaliy Kurkin were sentenced to death by the Bishkek garrison military court. They were accused of murdering the managing director of the LUKoil-Kyrgyzstan joint venture, Yusup Kolbayev, on 21 March 1997.
