the Taiwan High Court upheld the death sentences given by the Keelung District Court to three men in September.
Yu Yi-chen, Su Chih-hsiao and Cheng Wen-hui robbed Yi-Chen’s neighbour Huang An-lin, a junior-high school teacher in Keelung, and strangled her with an electric cord on December 2, 2007, the court ruling said.
The three did not provide details of the murder during hearings and also showed little remorse, the court said.
The three can appeal the high court’s decision to the Taiwan Supreme Court.
