Teh Hock Leong, a 33 year old private transport operator, was sentenced to death by the High Court in Malaysia after he was found guilty of trafficking in 580.3gm of methamphetamine. He was reported to have committed the offence at the Narcotics Office, KL International Airport, on June 27, 1999. He was charged under Section 39B (1) (a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
