The Bosnian Federation police said it was of "extreme importance at this moment to have General Andabak extradited [to BH (Bosnia-Herzegovina)], which should be decided by the Croatian judiciary ". Andabak is the prime suspect of the assassination of Federation Deputy Interior Minister Jozo Leutar, on March 16, 1999. Leutar was assassinated by an explosive device placed under his official car. "This is, actually, a test for dual citizenship. We believe the Croatian authorities will extradite General Andabak, because it was proven that he is a citizen of BH," the police press release read. If Croatia does not extradite, and justifies this with the fact that he is a Croatian citizen, then it would be clear that dual citizenship is a method for hiding criminals who commit crimes in BH and run away to Croatia and vice versa to escape justice, the Federation police said in the release.
